Cole Baughman is 8 years old and a 2nd grader at Batavia Elementary. Cole was born in July 2009 fighting for his life. He spent 9 days in the NICU and made his first trip to Cincinnati Children's Hospital at 7 days old. At the age of 3 years old he was diagnosed with Stickers Syndrome, a genetic disorder that can cause serious vision, hearing and joint problems. He has undergone numerous procedures and over 6 surgeries, including 2 cleft palate repairs.

Cole currently follows 8 departments at Children's and is an active member of the Champions Program. He is a sweet, caring, smart and funny boy who loves Pokemon, Legos, Math and Sports. He has been a Bearcats fan since birth, attending his first Football game at the age of two months old. He has attended well over 40 Football and Basketball games in his life. Despite all he has faced in his life already, he continues to amaze his family and friends with his positive spirit. Cole and his family are thankful to Children's Hospital for his quality care and opportunities like this!
